About GROWING IN GRACE
GiG started as a group of moms meeting at a house for summer pool dates. It has grown into a community of women seeking to grow their children by giving and receiving grace. Yes, each week we do weekly activities to help you understand your child’s preferences, specific development, and growing patterns. But more so we want to be a community of women, dedicated to building each other up, and knowing our ultimate comfort in our Creator.
Growing in Grace is a partner ministry of Orchard, previously Atlanta Community Ministries.
ORCHARD EXISTS TO SEE ALL CHRIST-FOLLOWERS SHINING THEIR LIGHTS AS BRIGHTLY AS POSSIBLE, TRANSFORMING LIVES SO THAT EVERYONE EXPERIENCES GOD’S LOVE MORE DEEPLY.
Jesus called his followers “the light of the world.” This is not a new concept to most people. But many of us are uncertain how it actually applies personally in our normal lives. For over twenty years, Orchard has been helping people figure that out.
ORCHARD INSPIRES AND EQUIPS PEOPLE TO SHOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST BY USING THEIR UNIQUE TALENTS TO MEET THE HUMAN AND SPIRITUAL NEEDS OF OTHERS.
Jesus inspired his followers to care for both the spiritual and human needs of those around them. Following his lead, Orchard helps people do the same, always keeping in mind that each person is an individual creation, a masterpiece of our Heavenly Father. When people serve with their unique talents and interests in mind, those being served and those doing the serving both experience God’s love more deeply.
Growing in Grace is a non-profit organization run by volunteers with no salaried employees. Thus, we exist solely on generous giving and non-profit funds.
